Film & TV Language: Sound video feedback and learner response

  -Teachers Feedback:

WWW- Good use of images, good concept, good use of parallel and contrapuntal sound, good music, good use of personal images.

EBI- Could have used more video clips instead of all images and use equal amount of images fot the contrapuntal section as the parallel section.

-Classes Feedback:

EBI- Use same framing for all the images, could have used more video clips instead of all images and use equal amount of images fot the contrapuntal section as the parallel section.

-Self Assessment:

WWW- I believe I used good music and a clear and thoughtful concept.

EBI- I could've used video clips to make the project more interesting.

-Importance of Sound:

Sound is crucial as it acts as an anchor for the interpretation of a text for the audience, it drives the narrative forward, builds atmosphere and creates tension if needed. It highlights established emotions and connects the audience to those characters and emphasises character actions, it overall builds emotion and interpretation of the film and narrative.
