A-Andrea Sachs-Walks up to the desk and stays standing, smiling, smug and satisfied expression.
Miranda Priestly-Stays seated, turns from facing the window to turning to the protagonist and turning back to the window at the end of the scene, condescending expression turns to stun and surprise.
M- Andrea Sachs- Regular face of makeup, extra eye shadow matching her dress, brown hair straightened and down.
Miranda Priestly-Short grey hair, curled in a chic up-do style, regular face of makeup with bolder eye-shadow matching her necklace.
P- Manuscript, coffee cup and glasses.
S-In an office.

-THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA:IMPOSSIBLE MANUSCRIPT SCENE:
1 INT. RUNWAY - HALLWAY
ANDY walks in holding MIRANDA’S coffee , we follow it down the hall and see it being set on MIRANDA’S desk.
And beside it lands boom! A manuscript.
1A INT. RUNWAY - MIRANDA’S OFFICE -- DAY.
MIRANDA, looking at the manuscript.
And then we see ANDY. She stands there, quiet, calm.
And if MIRANDA is amazed by what ANDY did, she doesn’t show it. She looks up at ANDY.
MIRANDA
One copy? What are my twins supposed to do with that... share?
ANDY
Oh no, I made two copies. And had them covered, re-set and bound so they wouldn’t look like manuscripts. This is an extra copy to have on file, you know, just in case.
She smiles. MIRANDA nods, but still won’t concede the point.
MIRANDA
And where exactly are those fabulous copies? I don’t see them anywhere.
2 INT. TRAIN -- DAY.
The Metro-North from New York City to Bedford.
In the front row, we see two girls in matching outfits with two matching Harry Potter manuscripts. The twins, with their NANNY beside them.
ANDY
They’re with the twins, now on the train on their way to grandma’s
3 INT. RUNWAY - MIRANDA’S OFFICE -- DAY.
ANDY smiles at MIRANDA. Her faith in herself restored.
ANDY
(brightly)
Anything else I can do for you?
MIRANDA
(Stunned)
HM-MN.
MIRANDA shakes her head slightly as she fidgets with her glasses.
MIRANDA
That’s all.
MIRANDA says as she looks ANDY up and down and swivels her chair back towards the window.
ANDY
(smugly)
Okay.
ANDY walks out.
-Explanation:
The scene includes Miranda, head editor at Runway, the top fashion company in New York City, and Andy, her new assistant. After being Mirandas assistant for a while, her competency is testing one last time as Miranda orders her to get the unpublished manuscript of the latest harry potter book for her twins or never come back. But surprisingly Andy is able to get her hands on the copy and sends it to her grandchildren ahead of time, and this is where the scene picks up.
