Conclave movie review
A movie review typically follows a standard structure: an introduction with a thesis and basic film information, a spoiler-free plot summary, a detailed analysis of elements like acting, direction, and cinematography, and a conclusion with a final opinion and recommendation. A good review also includes background facts about the film and is supported by evidence from the movie to back up your claims.
- Start with the film's title.
- Conclave, a 2024 thriller mystery produced by Tessa Ross, Juliette Howell, Michael A. Jackman, and Alice Dawson, adaptation of the novel written by Robert Harris, who also served as a producer.
- Say the type of film and when it was made.
- Explain the film's story but don't explain the ending!
- Give your opinion of the film, e.g. I love the actors in this film.
- Should people go and watch the film? Say what you think at the end.
Clueless, a cult classic produced by Robert Lawrence ,Scott Rudin, and Barry M. Berg, with Twink Caplan as Associate Producer and Adam Schroeder as Co-Producer, under the direction and writing of Amy Heckerling. The 30th anniversary showing of an iconic 1995 decade defining film that encapsulates the witty satire of 90's teen humour in a funny coming of age film set in the affluent Beverly Hills, California. The film is a loose adaptation of Jane Austen's 1815 novel Emma. The plot centres on a beautiful, popular, wealthy high school student, Cher, who wants to do "good deeds" to cope with adolescence and its myriad of problems. She befriends a newcomer and decides to give her a makeover while playing matchmaker for her teachers and examining her own high school existence and running into problems and unexpected romance on the way. The movie is a breath of fresh air from modern cinema, transports u to the 90's through the colours, language and setting, dynamic from the costumes to the acting and the classic tropes that don't feel dry, dull and overdone, the film is greatly composed with beautiful cinematography. Though the relationship the protagonist formed was disturbing and poorly written. However, I believe the movie is overall worth the watch, a throw back to the 90's with witty humour to enjoy on the weekend.
